Notice of Road Closure for Elkhart County Bridge Replacement Project CR 142 over Turkey Creek
Elkhart County will be closing CR 142 between CR 21 and SR 15 beginning on or about February 17, 2025. The road is scheduled to reopen on or about August 13, 2025. The purpose of the closure is to replace the bridge carrying CR 142 over Turkey Creek.
The detour route will be CR 21 to CR 46 to SR 15.
CR 142 will be open to local traffic, but there will not be access across Turkey Creek for the duration of the project.

Notice of Road Closure for CR 26 between CR 3 and CR 22
Elkhart County will be closing CR 26 between CR 3 and CR 22 beginning on or about February 24, 2025. The road is scheduled to reopen on or about August 29, 2025.
The detour route will be CR 3 to CR 28 to SR 19.
CR 26 will be open to local traffic; however, there will not be access across Baugo Creek for the duration of the project.
CR 20 between CR 37 and SR 13:
County Road 20 between County Road 37 and State Road 13 will be closed on or after April 1, 2024 for road and utility construction.
