Summary: This bridge was constructed in 1952 and has several elements that are in poor condition. The deterioration requires the bridge to be posted with a 29-ton weight limit. It will be rehabilitated by rebuilding a portion of the existing abutments and replacing the bridge deck and sidewalks. Many of the existing steel beams are in good condition and will be reused. The work will require the road to be completely closed during construction, which is expected to take about 8 months to complete.
